J. Matthew Cassin

Managing Principal

As the founding partner of JMC Holdings, now Acram Group, Matt focuses on firm wide strategy, acquisitions/dispositions, capital relationships, asset level execution and team development. Prior to founding Acram Group, Matt worked at Tishman Speyer, a global real estate owner and operator, reporting directly to the firm's CEO while overseeing various strategic initiatives and projects throughout the firm, with a primary focus on New York City assets and business. While at Tishman Speyer, Matt worked very closely with Acram Group partner's Isaac Zion and David Taylor. Prior to Tishman Speyer, Matt founded and developed two venture capital-backed companies: the first, LiveAdvice, was sold to AT&T in 2007; the second, Coleman Research Group, remains a leading independent research firm today. With this background, Matt also leads Acram Group's seed investments in the real estate technology space, having successfully invested in companies like VTS, Honest Buildings, ConcealFab and the MetaProp Funds. Matt currently serves on the Board of Trustees at The Salisbury School in Salisbury CT, where he is an alumnus. Matt received his bachelor's degree from Georgetown University, where he was the captain of the Division I Men's Lacrosse Team and received his MBA from Columbia Business School. Matt lives in Fairfield County, CT with his wife and three children.

Isaac Zion

Isaac joined Matt and David to form Acram Group in Q1 2021. Prior to joining, Isaac served as SL Green Realty Corp.'s (NYSE: SLG) co-Chief Investment Officer from 2011 through July of 2020 after having joined the organization in January 2007 as a Managing Director and as co-head of the company's Investments Group. While at SLG, Isaac led property acquisitions, dispositions, development, financings, and joint ventures along with having overall responsibility and being head of SL Green's suburban division/portfolio (35 buildings totaling over 5 million square feet). Over his career, he has played a senior role in over $50 billion of investment activity, including some of New York City's largest property transactions, and in over 20 million square feet of leasing. Prior to joining SL Green, Isaac was a Managing Director at Tishman Speyer responsible for office acquisitions and dispositions in the New York metropolitan region from 2004 through 2006. Upon joining Tishman Speyer in 2002 Isaac was responsible for the leasing and marketing efforts of the company's portfolio in New York City. Previously, Isaac was a director in Insignia/ESG's (now CBRE) Consulting Group and worked on large-scale leasing assignments from a tenant representative perspective throughout the country. Isaac holds a BS in management/finance from Binghamton University, where he was also a member of the Men's Basketball Team, and an MBA from New York University. Isaac has also been a member of REBNY, ULI, and an active participant in NYU's Career Advisory Program along with graduating from the David Rockefeller Fellows Program, a program sponsored by the Partnership for New York City, in 2006. He was also selected by Real Estate Forum for inclusion in the 2010 national list of “40 under 40” in real estate. Lastly, Isaac is also a Founding Member of the Center for Real Estate Finance Research at NYU's Stern School of Business, is a member of the 9/11 Memorial Visionary Circle's Leadership and a board member of Hailey's Hope Foundation (a charitable organization dedicated to helping families with children in the NICU) who resides in Westchester County, NY with his wife and three children.

David Taylor

David co-founded JMC Holdings, now Acram Group, and is responsible for acquisitions, joint ventures and new business, with a specific focus on debt and equity structuring and deal execution and operations. Prior to joining Acram Group, David worked in the investments group at SL Green (NYSE: SLG) focused on New York acquisitions and structured finance transactions. Prior to SL Green, David worked at Tishman Speyer in the New York office in a number of roles, including acquisitions/dispositions, portfolio management and leasing. Since 2000, David participated in acquiring over $8 billion of commercial office and multi-family residential properties throughout the U.S. Prior to Tishman Speyer, David worked for Jones Lang LaSalle in their Global Advisory Group. David received a B.A. in Economics from Duke University, where he was a member of the Division I Men's Wrestling Team. David lives in Fairfield County CT with his wife and two children.

Christopher Deppoliti

Managing Director, Head of Asset & Property Management

Chris runs Asset Management for Acram Group and in this role is responsible for asset level activities at all Acram Group portfolio properties. These activities include all CAPEX investment projects from initial concept to full implementation, third party management, leasing, general contracting work and all P&L related activities. Since joining Acram Group in 2013, Chris has lead over $60MM in capital projects and over 1MM RSF in leasing for the portfolio. Prior to joining Acram Group, Chris was the Vice President of Facilities Operations & Incident Management for NBCUniversal. While at NBC, Chris lead corporate facilities operations, crisis management, and business continuity for the company's global real estate portfolio. Prior to NBC, Chris worked at Tishman Speyer in their New York office in a number of roles, including Director of Facilities, Operations & Engineering for NBCUniversal's tri-state portfolio (approximately 2.2MM sqft), and Property Management at 200 Park Avenue (3MM sqft) and 885 Third Avenue (700K sqft). Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Chris was a commissioned Field Artillery Officer in the U.S. Army. Chris received a B.S. in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he was a member of the Division I Men's Lacrosse Team. Chris lives in Fairfield County, CT with his wife and four children.

Aaron Lazovik

Aaron joined Acram Group in 2018 to lead Acram's acquisitions nationally focusing on office, multifamily, development and industrial. In addition, Aaron has led Acram's portfolio expansion targeting growth markets such as the Carolinas and Florida. Prior to joining Acram, Aaron managed west coast acquisitions at Brickman Associates, a private equity fund focused on office/multifamily/industrial assets in gateway markets completing almost $2 billion in transactions throughout the country. In addition to deal sourcing and execution, Aaron managed business plan execution through property asset management. Prior to joining Brickman, he worked in commercial lending at Anglo Irish Bank, Credit Suisse and Wachovia responsible for loan origination, underwriting and loan workouts/restructures. Aaron is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and currently sits on the UDMUC Red Council. Aaron received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration and English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and lives in lower Manhattan with his family.

Jason Pratt

Jason Pratt joined Acram Group in 2021 as a Director of Asset Management, where he is responsible for driving operating and financial performance of the company's investments through strategic asset management and development activities. Prior to joining Acram, Jason spent six years at True North Management Group where he was responsible for acquisitions and asset management of value-add and opportunistic real estate investments across the U.S. During his time at True North, Jason led or participated in the execution and management of 4 million square feet of commercial real estate with a gross asset value of $1 billion. Prior to joining True North, Jason worked for GE Capital Real Estate, most recently as a member of their global underwriting team focused on investing in real estate credit strategies including first mortgages and mezzanine loans. Jason received his bachelor's degree from Providence College and resides in Fairfield County with his fiancé.

Caitlin Lievano

Caitlin Lievano joined Acram Group in 2024 as a Director of Asset Management where she is responsible for maximizing value and optimizing performance within the firm's portfolio. Additionally, she manages key development projects throughout the Southeast, ensuring that they remain on-time and on-budget. Prior to joining Acram, Caitlin was a Senior Vice President at Haven Capital, a dedicated ground lease platform, where she oversaw originations in major US markets. Prior to Haven, she spent six years at SL Green Realty in the investments group where she was responsible for acquisitions, debt originations and management of the firm's 48 million square foot portfolio. During her tenure at SL Green, Caitlin executed transactions in excess of $11 billion across a variety of asset classes and capitalized two major development projects in New York City. Before SL Green, Caitlin worked in development consulting and urban design throughout the New York region. Caitlin received her Master's in Real Estate Development from Columbia University, her Master of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University and her bachelor's degree from Brown University. Caitlin lives in Fairfield County with her husband and two children.

Nico Roe

Nico Roe is our Portfolio Security Director and an Asset Manager with a distinguished background in leadership and risk management. He joined Acram in 2023 after 11 years of active-duty service as a Naval Special Operations Officer. Nico is responsible for underwriting acquisition opportunities, performing due diligence, and supporting the asset management team. Having undertaken numerous deployments to conflict zones across the globe, and with a proven track record of leadership as a decorated SEAL Officer, he brings a wealth of security expertise to the Acram Portfolio. While on active duty, he founded a successful real estate investment firm, a testament to his determination to excel in both the military and business worlds. Nico is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy. He currently resides in San Diego, California.

Dustin Potter

Dustin joined Acram Group in 2020 as part of the acquisitions team in New York. In this role, Dustin is responsible for sourcing and underwriting acquisition opportunities, establishing new capital relationships, and executing asset level business plans.

Prior to joining Acram Group, Dustin was an associate in JLL's investment advisory group in Austin, Texas where he focused on institutional office and land transactions in the Austin, Dallas, Houston, and Denver markets. During his time in Austin, Dustin was a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin (RECA).

Dustin is currently a member of the Basser Young Leadership Council (YLC) of Penn Medicine’s Basser Center for BRCA, a research institute and care center for BRCA-related cancer. In addition, Dustin is a member of the Young Benefactors (YB) Board of the First Tee of Metropolitan New York, where he volunteers in the College Prep Essay Review program and the on-course PGA Junior League. Dustin is originally from Westchester County and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, and he currently lives in Manhattan with his wife.

Ryan Lieberman

Ryan joined Acram Group in 2022 focusing on acquisitions in Texas and Colorado for office, multifamily, development and industrial projects and is based in Acram's Greenwich office. Ryan is responsible for underwriting acquisition opportunities, performing due diligence, assisting in closing transactions, and supporting the asset management team. Prior to joining Acram, Ryan was an Associate at Prospect Ridge and previously served as an Associate in JLL's debt and equity placement group. Ryan received his BBA in Finance from The University of Texas at Austin. Ryan is originally from Dallas, TX and now resides in Manhattan.

Courtney Murphy, CPA

Courtney joined Acram Group in 2021 as part of the asset management team in New York. In this role, Courtney is responsible for business plan execution across the Acram Group portfolio and assists the acquisition team on various underwriting and diligence matters. Prior to joining Acram Group, Courtney was an associate at PwC in the Real Estate Tax Group. Courtney is a graduate of Villanova University, where she majored in accounting and real estate and was selected by the faculty as the Bartley Accounting Medallion winner, the highest award a student can receive for outstanding achievement in their major. Courtney resides in New York.

Rupali Raut

Rupali joined Acram Group in 2022 as part of the asset management team in the Greenwich office. In this role, Rupali is responsible for bookkeeping and support/management of assets for Acram Group. Prior to joining Acram Group, Rupali was full charge bookkeeper in Maier Markey and Juctic LLP. Rupali holds a bachelor's degree from University of Mumbai in accounting. Rupali resides in Elmsford, NY with her husband and two kids.

Abby Makabali

Abby joined Acram Group in 2021 to provide executive administrative support to all members of the Acram team. She is responsible for managing office operations and professional communication among industry professionals. Prior to joining Acram, she served an Executive Assistant to Co-Chief Investment Officers at SL Green Realty Corp where she also supported the Acquisition group. Previously, she managed the Marketing and Customer service team and supported Executive Management at a manufacturer based in New York City. Abby received her B.A. in International Business and Marketing at Ohio University and currently resides in Cleveland, Ohio.

Acram Group represents the culmination of a 15+ year relationship between founding Principals J. Matthew Cassin, Isaac Zion, and David Taylor.
